How to change screen brightness in Windows 7
Changing your computer monitor’s screen brightness in Windows 7 can be a little tricky if you have never done it before. Especially if your monitor itself does not have any buttons to change the brightness itself; however, there is one effective way to change the screen brightness in Windows 7 and that is through your desktop’s control panel.
To change your computer monitor’s screen brightness in Windows 7 this is what you do…
1. Launch your control panel.
You can find your control panel’s button by selecting the “Start” button on the bottom left of your desktop’s task bar and start typing in “control panel” in the “Search programs and files” text box and the icon will appear. Simply select the control panel icon to launch the control panel.
Once in your control panel…
2. Select “Appearance and Personalization.”
3. Select “Display.”
4. Select “Calibrate color” on the left side of the window.
The Display Color Calibration window will launch.
5. Select “Next” on the bottom right of the window and follow the calibration wizard to the end.
6. Select “finish” and you are all done.
