Best WordPress Themes for High Adsense CTR
1. HeatMap AdAptive
HeatMap AdAptive is a WordPress theme originally developed by Heatmap. This is a highly optimized WordPress Adsense theme for both casual and professional bloggers. This beautiful theme comes equipped with a widget position HeatMap which shows the most optimized locations for Google Adsense placement, including the best various ad unit sizes for mobile, tablet, and desktop visitors. Its HeatMap shows you the areas of your blog that will receive the highest click through rate. Its HeatMap AdAptive ad widgets (located in the Appearance -> Widgets tab) allow you to test out different ad locations for your blog, including the sidebars, in-content, and between posts just to name a few. You could, if you wanted to, upgrade to the HeatMap Adaptive Pro Membership for even more features; however, this theme already comes with many of the bells and whistles that similar WordPress themes can only dream of. This theme is responsive right out of the box and is highly optimized for both mobile and desktop users. I still haven’t found a way to disable the responsive feature. Even though this theme is perfect for increased Adsense earnings and a higher SEO score, this theme hasn’t been updated for several years, so support may be on the low side.
Pros
- Adsense optimized
- SEO optimized
- Widget position HeatMap + recommended ad unit size
- HeatMap AdAptive ad widgets
- Responsive
Cons
- No way to disable the responsive feature
- Slow page load times
- Little to no support
- Hasn’t been updated for 2+ years
2. HeatMap Adsense Theme
HeatMap Adsense Theme was the original theme developed by Heatmap over at the official WordPress site. This particular theme hasn’t been upgraded in well over several years so I would er on the side of caution if you chose to use this theme on a live site with a lot of traffic. With that said, this theme is not mobile friendly; however, it is highly optimized for both a higher SEO score and much higher click through rates for high traffic blogs than “wannabe” Adsense themes. Its 12 widget positions enable the blog owner to test various ad placement locations throughout their blog, both on static pages and individual posts.
Pros
- First original HeatMap Adsense ready WordPress theme
- Adsense optimized
- SEO optimized
- 12 ad-ready widget positions
Cons
- Not responsive
- Little to no support
- Hasn’t been updated for 2+ years
3. SuperAds Lite
SuperAds Lite is developed by Sophy – ThemeCountry who already has plenty of high quality WordPress themes to chose from. SuperAds Lite is the lightweight version of the pro upgrade that you can find on their official website. This particular theme was last updated last year and is highly optimized to rank high in the google search results. Its Adsense-Optimized ad placement locations enable a high-traffic blog to achieve higher click through rates and increased conversion for higher paying ad units then similar themes. I have noticed that there are some glitches to be encountered when using this theme if running a database with an older php version than current. Which may be the reason why occasionally a single ad unit would duplicate in different location even if put into only one ad widget; however, this theme actually has decent support.
Pros
- Developed by Sophy – ThemeCountry
- Lightweight with quick page load times
- Optimized to rank high in Google search results
- Adsense optimized ad placement locations
- Decent support
Cons
- Php errors
All three themes are perfectly suited for any webmaster who is seeking to make a decent income from blogging. I would recommend all three themes to be tested and experimented with; however, if I were to pick just one of these themes to recommend, I would recommend HeatMap AdAptive first as I have had the most success with it with both higher SEO rankings and higher Adsense earnings than the other two themes. If you would like a more up-to-date ad-ready WordPress theme with decent support and you don’t mind trouble-shooting php error messages, then you may want to check out SuperAds Lite instead of the HeatMap themes.
