How to Save Money while Shopping: Stop using Credit Cards
What I ask a lot of people, especially the “big” spenders, what method they use to make the majority of their purchases. Some of the options include using straight up cash, debit card, check, and the dreaded credit card. I cannot for the life of me figure out why some individuals would use credit cards as their primary form of making purchases unless they want to take the risk of going into debt quicker than everyone else.
Avoid using credit cards and save money by not paying extravagant interest rates that your credit card company and their affiliated collection agency will be charging you for. In today’s world, if you are not a politician you shouldn’t be spending money you don’t have. If you have to use a credit card, then try to use it only when absolutely necessary and only on things that you see long-term use out of, never on something that you rarely use. I wouldn’t even have a debit card, the last thing I want to do is to be regulated by the corrupt financial system our governments have forced upon us.
