How-To Save Money in Your Home: Get Rid of Landline Phones

I have not had a landline phone in decades. Ever since I got my first cell phone there has never been a need to continue to pay for a landline. I mean, now-a-days we pretty much carry our cellphones with us just about everywhere we go. Even when we get home from work for example, rarely does our cellphone leave our side.

I even have a Bluetooth device that I wear on my ear, and as long as my cellphone is within range, I can both answer and call out just by using voice commands. I have had cable and satellite companies offer me “deals” and “bundles” with their various entertainment packages, and I have saved quite a bit of money by simply refusing to buy into any of these so called “deals” (minus the internet of course). Landline phones can cost the homeowner a pretty penny; however homeowners can save quite a bit of money by just simply using their current cellphone as their primary and only phone. Think of it this way…if you have both a landline phone and a cellphone, which do you use more? Do you even use your landline phone?

I think the choice is clear…landline phones are a waste of money, and are even worse to use as an internet connection such as 56k dial up modems and the even worse…28k dial up modems. If you do have a landline and want to keep it I would highly avoid using the landline method for connecting to the internet. Ahhh…the wonders of high speed internet with coaxial cables and fiber optic cables…the way internet is meant to be, at least for now, until holographic technologies become more mainstream.
