Using a central heating unit to warm up the inside of your home can become expensive really quick, especially if you live in a climate with constant cooler temperatures year round. I myself, would rather warm up than to cool down. There are many ways one can warm themselves in their home without the needed expense of a dedicated heating unit. Wearing socks and a light beanie hat, cotton for example, helps to prevent the extremities from dissipating heat. Also wearing a light coat, sweater, or long sleeve shirt, even during the periods of sleep helps to keep the upper body warm. You will also be reducing your monthly electric bill on your utility statement by not using your central heating unit to warm the inside of your home.
