Released by Microsoft in 2012, Internet Explorer 10 is the standard browser for the Windows 8 operating systems.
With stricter web standards current browsers need to be catered not only to the typical emailer and web searcher, but as well as to the most dedicated website developer. Having to compete with the ever evolving webkit browsers, and various other open source browsers, Internet Explorer 10 had to include a slew of new and exciting features, features that most thought would have been the standard years ago.
Some of the new features include;
Css3 support for grid layouts, and flexible box and multi-column layouts
float positions and css stylesheet improvements
html5 drag and drop
various api’s including web performance and html5 files
developer previews, spell checking and 3d transformations
text shadows
video text captions
improved user interface for search result queries
