How to Save Money in your Home: Use a Manually Opening Garage Door
To save even more of your hard earned money in your home, you should be using a manually open garage door system. A garage door system that only includes the garage door, track, assembly, etc…everything except for the electronics such as the motor, electrical cabling, etc… Automatic garage door openers are nice and convenient, and I prefer anyone who is elderly or are unable to manually lift a garage door effectively by themself, to simply use an automatic garage door opener. Now those of us who are able to lift a garage door to open it, by all means this should be the route to go to save more money in your home. Not only are we saving money each month by not having any electricity powering an electronic motor, but we also have expanded the lifespan of any mechanical parts we do have if our garage would have had an electronic motor and other electrical components that could malfunction and require professional repairs. Which means little to no out of pocket cost to repair or replace worn out or damaged components for a garage door with no electrical motor. It’s nice to have the lowest electric bill in my neighborhood.
