1. Login to cPanel (Control Panel) with your username and password.
2. Scroll down to about the sixth category in your cPanel account control panel called “Files.”
3. Locate the third option from the top left, there should be an icon and link called “File Manager.”
4. Left click once on “File Manager” to bring up the “File Manager Directory Selection” pop up menu.
5. Select, via the drop drop down menu, the correct directory.
6. You may need to check the check box “Show Hidden Files (dotfiles).” to show all files/folders in directory.
7. Select the correct location/folder you will be uploading the files to.
8. Left click once on “Upload” in the header menu bar location.
9. Verify file permissions.
10. Left click once on “Browse.”
11. Select file from internal computer storage device or external storage device.
12. Click “Open” in Microsoft Windows “File Upload” pop up box.
13. Exit window/tab or left click once on “Go Back” link to return to previous directory.
14. Refresh directory file listings by left clicking once on “Reload.”
15. Verify file uploaded correctly.
16. Verify proper file permissions were carried/transferred over during file upload.
