The AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor is a fantastic little miniature weather station perfect for the home. My review product of the AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor came with a magnetic backing enabling the device to be placed on the front of a refrigerator or freezer, or just about anywhere a strong magnet is located. The AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor system is powered by a single AA battery that is not included. I try to only purchase products that are made in the USA, though this product caught my attention even though it says it is made in China. My review unit of the AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor came in an all black with a sort of imitation silver border around the digital screen. The back side of the AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor unlatches to reveal the area for the one AA battery that should of been, but was not, included for some reason. Why is it so difficult to include a single AA battery with a device that functions solely on the AA battery. The AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor measures in fine detail the Indoor Humidity and Temperature. Both the Indoor Humidity and Temperature displays are broken down into a “hi” and “low” range of both measures recorded. There is even a little house icon that shows whether or not the Indoor Humidity is OK or High. I actually have my AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor resting on one of my office desks so as to quickly see what the relative Indoor Humidity and Temperature are at a quick glance. My only gripe with the AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor is that I wish the product would have included a single AA battery, so I wouldn’t have to go to the store and purchase additional batteries even though I only need the one to power the unit. I think I will end up purchasing a secondary portable AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor to attach to my kitchen refrigerator and maybe even a third AcuRite 00325 Home Comfort Monitor for my bedroom, so I can put those extra AA batteries that I shouldn’t of had to buy to use.
