He stepped up looking
upon the crowd.
He had a speech prepared
an amazing speech to tell,
but first, he must introduce.

He must get past his fears,
and tell us, the audience,
who he is, why he is here.

The hardest part of his speech,
maybe the reason,
we hear nothing from him at all.

The introduction is all he needs.
It seems simple, but to him,
it will be the hardest thing he does.
[A/N] Part of a 100 poem challenge. This is number 1 of 100. So sit back and enjoy.

This first poem is based on the subject of introduction. So I used the idea of someone scare to actually start the introduction to then continue into his speech.
