Sandisk has a long reputation for leading the flash drive market, and its 8 gigabyte version is another reason why it does so with ease. The 8 gigabyte version of the Sandisk flash drives gives the user nearly 8 gigabytes of informational storage space.
The device itself is encased inside a black plastic shell that houses the components. The logo is in a white font which signifies the Sandisk brand name. A white flip switch extends the metal USB (Universal Serial Bus) connector which allows the user to connect it to any 2.0+ usb port.
Towards the rear and underneath, an iconic key loop allows the user to thread a lanyard and carry the information on the go. White lettering also portrayed the amount of storage capability the device had, in this case, 8 GB.
Another neat feature I liked, when the usb device was plugged into a usb port, and indicator light would notify me by blinking on and off repeatedly whether or not the device was busy or idle.
