1. Select “Tools” from the menu bar.
2. Select “Options” from the drop down list.
3. Select “Privacy & Security” from the left options bar.
4. Under History select “Clear History…”
5. For Time range to clear verify that the option “Everything” is selected from the selectable drop down list.
6. Under the Details section verify that all of the check boxes are checked.
7. Select “Clear Now.”

If you don’t want to clear all of your browsing history you are given the options to only clear history in a specific time range and to specify which history you want to clear. Such as Browsing & Download History and Offline Website Data, etc… The choice is yours.

How to clear cookies and site data in FireFox

1. Select “Tools” from the menu bar.
2. Select “Options” from the drop down list.
3. Select “Privacy & Security” from the left options bar.
4. Under Cookies and Site Data select “Clear data…”
5. Verify that all of the check boxes are checked. (Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content)
6. Select “Clear.”
