Step 1. Launch Mozilla Firefox, (via the Start menu, Desktop, Taskbar, etc…).
Step 2. Locate the menu bar, (should be the uppermost blue bar with several options “File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help”).
Step 3. Locate the “Tools” option in the menu bar, (“Tools” should be located between the “Bookmarks” and “Help” menu bar options).
Step 4. Left Click once on “Tools” (using your mouse cursor).
Step 5. You will be presented with several options, (Downloads, Add-ons, Set Up Sync, Web Developer, Page Info, Options).
Step 6. Locate the “Add-ons” menu option.
Step 7. Left Click once on “Add-ons” (The “Add-ons Manager” page should load with a left menu consisting of “Get Add-ons,” “Extensions,” “Appearance,” “Plugins,” and “Services.” Make sure the “Plugins” left menu tab is currently selected, if it is not, then left click once on the “Plugins” left menu tab).
Step 8. You should be presented with a list with all of your Plugins, the Plugins version number, along with any Plugins that require an update, (Plugins that require an update should be highlighted with a red hue).
Step 9. The Plugins that require an update should have the current version number of the currently installed plugin, along with the newest version number of the same plugin if you were to update it now.
Step 10. If you wish to update the plugin, simply left click once on “Update Now” in the central blue letters.
That is it! Simply follow the installer menu prompts and you are well on your way to successfully CHECKING and UPDATING your Mozilla Firefox PLUGINS. You may need to restart and relaunch your Mozilla Firefox browser to fully update your browser plugins.
