In this short tutorial, we will guide you through the quick process on how you can clear the browsing history using the ever so popular internet web browser, Internet Explorer.

Step 1. Launch Internet Explorer.

Step 2. Locate the menu bar, (File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help).

Step 3. Locate the “Tools” option in the menu bar.

Step 4. Left click once on “Tools” in the menu bar.

Step 5. Left click once on “Delete browsing history…”

Step 6. Alternatively you can use the keyboard short cut, (Ctrl + Shift + Del).

Step 7. The “Delete Browsing History” window will appear.

Step 8. Select/Un-Select which data you wish to delete/keep from Internet Explorer, (Preserve Favorites website data, Temporary Internet files, Cookies, History, Download History, Form data, Passwords, ActiveX Filtering and Tracking Protection data).

Step 9. Left click once on the “Delete” button.

That is it! Just give Internet Explorer a minute or so to delete the particular data you selected. You may wish to close Internet Explorer and launch a new session of Internet Explorer to verify the data you deleted was properly deleted.
