How to Save Time in Your Home: Use High Speed Internet Technologies
Using high speed internet technologies is such a time saver. I remember the good old days when dial up internet was the only way to connect with friends and family online. Companies such as AOL (America Online) and Netscape Navigator and terms such as 56k and 28k were the norm. I remember having to enter a username and password then having to wait for my computer modem to connect via a landline while listening to that dreaded dialing noise.
When I was finally connected to the internet after a good minute or so, I could finally browse through my desired webpages at a snail’s pace. Now with the invention of modern fiber optic and coaxial cable lines, high speed routers, high speed cable modems, high speed internet and having an “always on connection” whether that is using a wired connection or a wireless connection there is no more waiting to connect to the internet, no more dreaded dialing noise, and no more viewing of a loading bar at the bottom of the browser. Landlines should only be used for telephone communication, not network communication…that is, unless you are in no hurry and have time to spare.
Nowadays you can even check your email and browser your favorite websites in real time and in high speed by simply using your smart phone. Inside of your home however, you just want to make sure you have a fast computer(desktop, laptop, or tablet pc) to keep up with all the computing power required to load and process the web pages your high speed internet is loading using your web browser.
